Joy of Sweet Treats

Look at Boyu's delicious coconut icecream and Olivia's wild fruit yogurt! Doesn't it look good? ;) This summer has been amazing, and with us both entering our final year of high school (hooray!) we wanted to say goodbye to the beautiful weather with a final cold treat, something that suits summer better than it can in winter: Qoola yogurt and some icecream from a sidewalk cafe. We are trying to live this last week as free as can be, although we are looking forward to all the back-to-school shopping coming our way. Since summer's coming to an end, we will have a few new posts on our fabulous fall looks! Stay tuned ;) and we hope everyone had some wicked fun in the sun! Hopefully Hawaii will remain as beautiful for our trip next summer !!

We know that Olivia is the only one wearing a leopard print, and we know that Boyu isn't but still, its a cute title :) We definately love to splurge but we also appreciate sales a whole lot more. This edition features both of us saving on our skirts, Olivia's being shockingly $8 while Boyu's only $1o (you actually aren't able to see the detail in B's skirt but its just fantastic). We once again hit the town and found brilliant deals, and we managed to still look chic while doing so.

It surely takes time to find a solid piece on sale. Just keep looking, and we swear that the wonderful moment will come when you spot that gorgeous top with the sequins nicely positioned around the collar far away on a sales rack.

On our recent shop-til-you-drop marathon (as we call it our usual shopping days), we had an incredible body workout - running to sales, running to more sales, and running to free makeovers at various cosmetic retailers. Olivia has been looking at headbands for the upcoming winter formal event, while Boyu still attempts to find her perfect summer maxi-dress. Anyway, we took a few hidden pictures when no salespeople were around. We both admit that it was quite a successful day, but Shh! Don't tell! ;)

This was the first time we had gone to a boat cruise together around the beautiful British Columbian Coast. Olivia, on the left, wore a royal purple assymetrical dress, with folded pleats which caught the eyes of many. Boyu, on the right, wore a strapless black dress with a solid strip of pink down the centre, accompanied by a thin belt to define the waist. Boyu's wild strappy heels helped to balance the organized, solid colours of her dress, while Olivia's bright creased piece was offset by her neat and clean looking high heels. It was an amazing cruise and we definately had a blast!

Looking past our blog, you can tell we definately have a lot of photos.We take pictures whenever we feel like we would be missing a "moment" if we didn't. Pictures capture so much meaning and life, even in a still image. Without them, we wouldn't be able to remember a lot of milestones, so we celebrate each one with the beautiful snap of our camera. These were taken on our sushi dinner, as we celebrated a close friend's wonderful birthday!

Let's not forget a few pictures from Boyu's vacation to Vietnam

The beaches were incredibly beautiful and the sand was perfect for sneaking in some sun bathing - Boyu tanned because of the Southern bright sun.

Though I was unable to make it, Boyu managed to make sure I was there in spirit. Oh ! Boyu also managed to scout out a few bachelors for me! Woohoo! He does look quite charming! We hope everyone is having a terrific summer - enjoy the sunshine! Girls, relax and spy for some bachelors too! ;)

Lately, its been getting windy and chilly. Although summer isn't finished, sometimes you have to just add a nice jacket on to an outfit and breathe in the fresh air. This is our take on a laid back, sight seeing look, and though there are many variations, these just set the mood for the nice cool day ahead. Try inhaling and exhaling deeply the next time you roam around; its a tranquil and wonderful feeling especially if you're with a friend. Don't forget to throw on a jacket!
