Chasing the Winter Sun

We were wandering around town while doing our Christmas shopping as we stumbled upon this fabulous little field with the sun shining brightly. So, we had to document these gorgeous rays and our outfits-of-the-day!

We both tend to hum this catchy tune to ourselves when it comes to the holidays and when Santa makes a return to the mall. But whew!

Hasn't life seemed a bit hectic these past weeks? We've both been running around trying to accomplish our long list of tasks to do for the holidays. As we were passing by a neighbourhood on our way to search for some cute wool scarves and precious chocolate samples downtown, we managed to stop and catch this glowing scene. The street was quiet, and the sun continued to shine down overhead. We missed blogging about some of our everyday outfits, so we decided it was a great time to share a few photos of days when we don't look picture perfect, just natural and happy. This mini-shoot was fun, especially since Boyu just purchased her new boots and was jumping between muddy puddles. That was entertaining to watch ;)

"The market is full of statement necklaces right now, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding one that suits you." It is absolutely true and we certainly agree! These days, you cannot go anywhere without owning a statement item in your closet. Whether it's earrings, bracelets, scarves, or boots, it is still considered a "statement piece" if it catches peoples' attention. Hence, on our "BLIV shopping list" hunting for unique accessories are certainly a must-do! As a matter of fact, we both paired our dresses with a statement piece: eye-catching necklaces. If you really want to be an attention-grabber in the crowd, then wear a statement piece.

Here's a helpful hint: be careful with what you combine it with, and try to make it the only statement in your outfit and goodluck! ;)

A Night to Strike

Who says high heels are a "no-no" in the winter time? Well, we certainly broke the rule :) Tonight we were both dolled up with cat eyeliner and some curls for our monumental Grad shots! We have been waiting for this day for f-o-r-e-v-e-r! The wait from the beginning of high school until now felt endless, yet now that we have worn those gowns once, it seems like we have a limited time until this year is over in a blink. It finally hit us that we are graduating, and how brisk these past few months have gone by. Nevertheless, we are going to be out of High School soon and in the real world. We both cannot wait! :D

Snow - Please Don't Melt

Yesterday was the first snow fall of the year. It's unbelievable how early it snowed! It's only November! Last year, it was unfortunate that it snowed once; it was horrible, we could not make Frosty the Snowman and it did not feel like a sentimental Christmas. Indeed, we're both excited to do Winter activities: making snow angels, catching snowflakes, snow fights, skating, boxing day shopping, visit Santa Claus, blah blah blah, you know the rest. Most importantly, opening presents and setting new goals for a new year. These pictures were taken last December, we just wanted to share a few. Look how young we look :)!

P.S Our last exam is on Monday, so we're going to be free for the rest of November. Keep in tune!

Under the Bridge on a Saturday Night

The gorgeous, neon yellow building is actually the restaurant. It's situated between the Granville and Burrard Bridges hence, the name. It is absolutely beautiful to visit at night! Next time you're in Vancouver, we suggest you to check it out.

These were taken during Olivia's birthday celebration on a Saturday Night (the last weekend of October). It was a mysterious night and we saw many trick-O-treaters in their costumes. Perhaps, it was one of the funnest Halloween weekends we've ever had! We had dinner at Bridge's Restaurant in Granville Island, it was one of the warmest and nicest place we've ever been to. We have to admit, this is a perfect place for a romantic date. Not only that, but the food was delicious! Olivia had Seafood Fettuchini, while Boyu had Roast Beef Burgers. Ohh, how tasty! Of course, we did not forget to blog about our evening. We hope everyone had a spectacular and spooky Halloween weekend! Stay in tune for more upcoming events ;)

Yikes! Summer's out and school's REALLY in! Also, the weather is getting chilly - this is a sign to throw on jeans for the Fall/Winter season. Just like us, we've gone from shorts to long jeans. Jeans may not be the most comfortable and best option for you, but it is the cutest thing to wear ;)! It goes with everything, from fancy tops to relaxed tanks. For us, we paired it with down-to-earth tops, totally perfect for the climate.These pictures were taken softly on a misty/sunny day to define our dark skinny jeans. We hope everyone's having fun!
